I feel SG's analysis of early days of Zionism is severely limited in its understanding. He almost unquestionably accepts American and British positions which were mainly a settler colonial perspective. He completely ignores colonial roots of Zionism and how early Zionists were inspired by European colonial expeditions. He also ignores the religious Christian Zionist influence on American perspective of Israel. If anyone carefully inspects how American settlers consolidated their hold on Native land by slowly exterminating native people it becomes very clear Israel is the exact same kind of project, rather on crack. White supremacy is always cloaked by 'foreign policy imperatives' but at the heart they are white supremacy.
