  2. Very superficial excuses while defending RSS's credential in the matter of food. Just because RSS leaders eat non veg food does not make the claim of RSS food policing any less credible. BECAUSE RSS is full of such contradictions. Biggest one is on one hand RSS claims it has no control over BJP and it stays away from politics , majority BJP leaders come from RSS and ABVP itself is a student union of RSS. On one hand RSS promote theories of Love Jihad , many BJP leaders have married Muslim family members. RSS regularly promoted vegetarianism in Bengal during Durga Puja despite many of RSS leaders eat non veg. RSS regularly vilifies JNU students yet have many JNU alumni in BJP. Such contradictions exists in large scale precisely because RSS ideology is opportunism. It has no credible consistent ideology. It is based on whatever fuels the sentiment of the masses.
