RU said their goal was to end the killing by Ukraine of the peope of the Donbas, something Zelensky and Poroshenko had been doing from 2014 after the USA's violent and illegal coup. If Zelensky abided by the Minsk 2 agreements this never would have happened, if Zelensky did what he said he would do when elected this never would have happened.
