RU used UN Responsibility to Protect (R2P) doctrine to end the killing of RU speakers in the Donbas by Poroshenko & Zelensky from 2014-2022. Zelensky ran on a platform of peace saying he would end the civil war but once in power instead of ending the shelling, he increased it as noted by OSCE

  6. long range strikes inside RU means NATO is directly at war with RU. US desperate to keep the war going till Nov elections as 2 failed wars is political suicide for the Democrats. Zelensky hopes RU will over react and do something to give NATO a reason to enter the war. RU will strike either UK or US military bases around the world (depending which countries missiles are used)
