  2. This project is a part of the global influences to limit the democratic freedoms that our founding fathers put in place. It sounds like permitting the control of political power that we have always gone to war to protect our freedoms. In history, our government followed Locke who believed the power of the rulers would be used to protect citizens rights. Hobbes, his opponent, believed that people should submit to the rules of the a monarch. The President would have the authority of a king under Project 2025. George Washington warned: "Beware of the two party system." We have to think about our freedoms in the Middle Ground not left or right!
