You can't discuss Titan without mentioning U.S. Navy Advanced Unmanned Search System (AUSS) project. Everything including hull construction and hull integrity monitoring system were developed there. The point which everyone is seemingly missing is that monitoring system actually were able to identify structural damage on one of the previous dives. But it was just ignored.

To be absolutely honest I have mixed feeling about "explorers" movement. As... Well now you have ways to control everything remotely with the really great image quality... No need to go in person. No practical reason.
