That's more likely a reflection of what you watching. For example Germany leads the Lithuania presence but if your in the UK you might not hear about it as the UK leads the Estonian presence.

@truthmediarebel5816 exercises like this mean we won't have to fight for real. Russia won't invade a country it knows it firmly supported by NATO. It will invade a country without that support, as recent history has shown.

@mac6899 Crimea wasn't always Russian, it was occupied by Russia, like the Baltics only the process of replacing the native population was further on. Russia aren't scared of a NATO invasion, a prospect impractical without nuclear weapons, impossible with them. They are scared of losing the ability to bully there neighbours.

@mac6899 If the Baltics need Russia let them decide. NATO didn't invade Lithuania, it was invited in, by a democratic government. You mean when hundred of thousands of Ukrainian protested on the streets the government changed?
