  3.  @glennpowell3444  after WW2 we did owe them (though given the USSR wasn't broken I don't think it's for pur existence), but that's not why it's there. We has the same goal with regards the USSR. And the USSR planned on us both fighting together.

  4.  @GracesGarden80  we've always been close enough to the US that we are getting hit, defence sites or not. What we get, like this video says, is access to the information these sites produce. And no one has effective defences against ICBMs, its still MAD in action.

  5.  @GracesGarden80  It's enough to seriously mess up any country that fires at us. Past that deterrent I don't see the point in anymore. There's no winning if they start flying. It also worth noting that it's congress that declares war rather than the president in the US.
