  2.  @Antonio.dei.Demanaro  What do you think a nation is because language far from being irrelevant is often one of the defining traits? It's not like there isn't a shared history or similar culture eitehr.

  3.  @Antonio.dei.Demanaro  Scottish and English are British, my nationality. Unlike with the US they've spend centuries together not apart. Accents certainly wouldn't be a factor if you think England is a nation. The UK certainly isn't uniform but somewhere like Liverpool is more similar to Glasgow than London.

  4. Why not a language from the largest group (Romance) so it's easier for more the understand, or the most understood language?
