  9. The only advantage the US has over China is tech. Lasers and stealth are the essentials. The size could be reduced.

  10. It been upgraded many times so what was bad isn't necessarily still bad. It also depends on what threat you taking about. It doesn't have to be good against everything to be useful.

  11. The F22 was to replace the F15 but it was cancelled as there was no competition to justify the cost. The F35C is replacing F18s but only the Hornets, not the Super Hornets.

  14. That's a deficit more than the defence budget and at least some kind of defence budget is essential. The issue isn't defence it's politics (and i'd go for Tax in particular).
