Something that doesn't get mentioned enough is that under the 1994 Budapest Memorandum, Russia, The US and the UK have a legal obligation to guarantee Ukraine's security. Russia broke that Treaty giving the US and UK a legal obligation to use whatever Military Force is necessary to ensure Ukraine's security. The US and UK can take direct military action to intervene and Russia has no legal grounds to object or resist. This is important to remember when the propaganda merchants start shouting that NATO wants to eat Russia or that this is all NATO's fault. Russia made that deal to eliminate Ukraine's nukes, because 'they were a threat to Russia' ( According to Russia ) and now it is trying to eliminate Ukraine because 'Ukraine is a threat to Russia'.
