In the opening scene of Saving Private Ryan, Tom Hanks assesses the situation and tells his men to jump over the side of the boat instead of waiting for the ramp to drop. Has nobody seen that film ? No plan survives contact with the enemy. Has nobody here heard that before ? Ukr will adapt to the situation that it finds itself in. It will takes losses, that is unavoidable. It will learn from those situations whether they are mistakes or not, and it will adapt. It will operate on it's own timetable and anyone who uses the term 'dissappointing' or 'failure' or similar is better off going back to watching sports.

Everyone knew this was going to be slow and hard because it is what it is. There will be breakthroughs, because no defence is perfect. There will be unsuccesful assaults because no assault or campaign or counter-offensive is perfect. Russia will try to continue it's invasion, because it doesn't have the courage and integrity to admit that it was wrong to invade.

@ucleanh9859 I don't understand this but no what I said doesn't apply to Russia as Russia and Ukraine are not in the same situation at all. You didn't understand my post. My point is that people are saying 'You didn't meet MY expectations so you have failed', which is BS because the expectations of others are irrelevant. Russia failed to meet it's own expectations and objectives despite having every advantage, so yes it failed. Ukraine has very little advantage, most of it's 'advantages' only even things up.

Putin and Russia would rather be defeated than admit they were wrong. Therefore what they really want is a stalemate where they can claim they were never defeated, but never had to admit they were wrong either. Therefore they will continue to send poor quality troops and second-rate supplies to their forces in Ukraine, but in large numbers. They will maintain a massively long front line, so that both sides are stretched thin and neither can make a decisive advance but Russia has a slight edge in defence against the Ukraine counter-attack.

@ПроститееслиобиделЯсваминесогл Yeah ..... no. So you mean the Patriots that are 100% against Russia's unstoppable Kinzhal missile ? Or do you mean the 80's tech Javelin which has wiped out hundreds of Russia's best tanks ? Or the 80's tech HIMARS which has wiped out Russian ammo dumps, HQ's, Artillery, SAMs ... so far Ukriane has destroyd 4000 of Russia's 6000 artillery guns. Couple thousand tanks & IFVs ... The Ka-52 will be gone as soon as F-16's arrive, which will be a lot sooner than you think.

@ПроститееслиобиделЯсваминесогл Ukraine is clearing Russia's artillery support before taking out the minefields, but by then those poorly equipped Russians will be running for the border.
