@daveharvey5764 First we need to agree that; Concentration of power in a political machine is bad. and an established Church is only a political machine; it was invented for that; it is nursed, cradled, preserved for that; like a business. And like Mr. or Mrs. I need units business up there. As I said "a enemy" to some customers liberty, and does no good which it could not do better in a split-up and scattered condition. So to divid and conquer to monopolize. IMO.

@daveharvey5764 The so called Christian nations are the most enlightened; in other words 'woke" and progressive...but in spite of their religion NOT because of it. The church has opposed every inovation and discovery from Galileo down to our time, when the use of anesthetic in childbirth was regarded as sin becuse it avoided the biblical curse pronounced against Eve. And every step in astronomy and geology ( the southern border) ever taken has been opposed by bigotry and superstition. The Greeks surpassed us in artistic culture and architecture five houndred years before the Christian religion was born. Ours is a terrible religion. the fleets of the world could swim in spacious comfort in the innocent blood it has spilled. Man is a religous animal He is the only Religious animal that has true religion...several of them. He is the only animal that loves his neighbor as himself and cuts his throat if his theology isn't straight. UnAmerican IMO.

@daveharvey5764 well... our founders were NOT originalist them selfs. White mostly wealthy land owners. And separated church and state for a damn good reason. Originalism and or textualism is a myth. Because in the end the constitution only says what 5-4 of the Mullahs of the Marble palace say what the U.S. Constitution says. Lets hope they do not fail AMERICA. A humble man (MANKIND) see's all sides. A morel man understands the purpose of virtue, integrity, duty, and truth. A wise man knows how to be humble, and morel, and persuade others to do the same by example rather than force so that he can preserve free will for all who may one day come to God.
