  1. I wonder how soon in the U.S. non-wealthy people could afford mattresses stuffed with feathers or soft materials. I thought of three things: Straw can get infested with mites and bedbugs, it probably itches through the fabric, and it sure is noisy when you have to change your sleeping position. I'm so spoiled by my Sealy Posturepedic!
