  1. That's the true test when it comes to fighting for your country. The idea is you're fighting for particular values and the preserving of a way of life you truly believe in but might not get to see. If, as figures suggest, many in the West don't see anything worth preserving, let alone worth fighting for, then it tells us all we need to know about the current system as it stands. Even most of those who've championed it and bitched and moaned for years to create it couldn't be arsed to fight for it. Nuff said.
