  1. Can someone explain the following points to me: Why did delta cases (seemingly) disappear wherever omicron spiked? What is the mechanism of omicron replacing delta instead of just adding on top of it? Is one preventing the other? Is it impossible to get infected by two variants of covid at once? If so, why?
