  1. Al Jazeera, take it easy with the fake news. Cuba is not just in a crisis because of US sanctions and the pandemic. They have been in a severe crisis for very long due to their socialist planned economy which stifles economic growth, punishes every attempt by civilians creating a business in the private sector to survive, corruption, bad management, price fixing, and hindering free trade. Just like in Venezuela, North Korea, and other socialist-esque states with horrible economic and rights situations. It's such a shame that the Castro regime managed to be established. A tragedy for humanity and a stain to the world.
