@zayya9362 You don't have to live in a country to know how it works, what politics operates and how the country is doing. Anyone can do their independent research these days.

Handling terrorist actions and illegal behavior committed by a group of people is sometimes justified. Although i'm sure the Myanmar army went a bit too far when they went against the rohingyas. Even the army itself has admitted that. But genocidal intent wasn't involved, from what we so far know. It's just that something had to be done to the insurgencies and anti-state activities.

Rocketman Amit How did that work out for Tunisia and other countries that let the anarchist vein of the public take over entirely? It's not that easy to say "democracy" and "secularism" will save a country when there's so many more factors and realities to take into account.

The military is in a way already ruling by decree and can do whatever they like. So i'm not surprised by these comments by Myanmar's military's commander in chief. They won't let their power deplete or slide out of their hands.
