  1. Migrants, criminals and the young tend to be liberal. There's a classical old saying, something along the lines of "a liberal is someone who haven't been robbed yet". I think it's quite striking. When people wake up and face the reality of humanity and how societies operate, you'll quickly abandon your liberal viewpoints.

  2. Did anyone else watch the full speech live? I nearly fell asleep during the speech due to its length and the time of day. But the speech was overall captivating and delivered in a cleverly structured way. Apart from his climate change rejections, anti-lockdowns/anti-mask advocacy, and libertarian approach on some issues (e.g, 2A), I mostly agree with what he said. The boos and screams of "traitor" when Trump praised McConnell was hilarious as well. The most memorable moment.
