@cartoonistxv9254 China doesn't respect or advocate for Western values, which is why restrictions are made on universities, medias, diplomats and other channels that China uses to influence and infiltrate the West. I don't always agree with the restrictions, restrictions which may be seen as contradictory sometimes, but it's understandable that limitations are put in place.

Because China is spreading pro-CCP propaganda that stands in contrasts to most Western values, and may result in misleading ideas being imprinted within the population in the UK? As opposed to BBC, an organization that has its flaws, but is far from as biased as pro-CCP outlets. That said, I think this crackdown has to do with the new security law in Hong Kong and China's recent disputes with UK. If that's what led to the removal of this Chinese media in UK, I wouldn't condone it.
