  1. Good, frankly. There's no justifiable reason to support or participate in the aggressive anti-government movement who've harassed individuals with suspected mainland ties, burned down the city, attacked the police, destroyed infrastructure/traffic lights/public property, etc, and who've issued a list of unhinged demands. I can see why China implemented the security law. It is totally needed to insert control, get the economy back on track, and make sure that law & order prevails. I gotta say that many Westerners and anti-Chinese activists have got an incoherent and wrongful stance on the matter that can't be defended. And I say this as someone who's usually a heavy critic of China.
