  1. Hong Kong has been run over by vandals and people trying to shame and punish the police. Just like in USA. The whole movement is irrational, especially since they reached their goal over a year ago (but continued rioting anyway), which justified the implementation of a security law. I think the protests around Navalny is a bit different. He's been charged and arrested on shaky premises, and the people hasn't gotten what they want in this regard. The protests hasn't been as violent and prolonged either from what I know.
