agustin de itrubide Why are cartels controlling the country? Why are Mexicans fleeing the country in large groups? Are you blinded by state propaganda or bought up by some unethical network?

The state is purchased and controlled by these gangs and cartels. The populace are complacent and lack the determination to break down the corruption, crime rate and Mexico's myriad of problems. It doesn't help that the country is governed by a naive leftist trying to negotiate and act with kindness towards these unconditionally insane cartels.

@spateri728 Both areas should be tackled and be done to counter the supply/demand of drugs and trafficking. But legalization will never be the answer. And letting individuals from Mexico pass through our Southern barriers won't improve things. The factors that cause Mexico's and USA's downfall ought to be rectified at its core.
