  1. Why would politicians abolish voting if "it did work"? What sort of logic is that? But yes, you theoretically don't need to vote if you have a great and streamlined political system in place that benefits everyone. Sadly not everyone believes in the same type of system. Some think that socialism and communism is the answer. Some believe in liberalism. Some think that national conservatism, statism, regulated capitalism and collectivism is the way to go.
