  1. Not just during the pandemic. They caused havoc, disorder and destruction for a bad cause. Even though the extradition bill had been withdrawn. They tried to release violent criminals. Undermine due process. Destroy the police and their image. Had laughably ridiculous demands. No one can take that seriously. And in the end, the extradition bill had to be reimplemented, 10x as strong as the initial one planned. The rioters couldn't have handled this worse. They shot themselves in the foot.

  2. It's for the better. This irrational movement shouldn't have dragged on for so long. Sure, oppose the extradition laws. But the laws were suspended, and yet the movement continued rioting, destroying businesses, threatened people, defamed the police, defaced the streets, teared apart traffic light cables, acted racist against Chinese mainlanders, and crushed the economy. They tried to release violent felons and investigate the HK police for no reason. Of course the instigators should be held accountable, which is what is happening now. Law & order can now be reimplemented.
