@shadowaussien7743 Because the UN is more about global relations/peace than judging countries for their excess- or shortage of human rights.

@donkoh5738 The military has a TON of equipment and resources for their military. Blocking some arms deals won't do a thing. And the army is rich. They'll find sources to retrieve weapons and military vehicles if they want. Sanctions won't do a thing either. The only remaining option is direct interference by sending in forces. That's the last thing we should advocate for. Nobody wants further bloodshed, power vacuums and destabilization in another country.
