  1. Did you think that the US was your friend and that they respected your sovereignty? They're unpredictable and basically do whatever they want, no matter what others think. This applies to China as well.

  3. India's army has limited strength and capacity. So of course the superpowers won't back down when they've got the maritime superiority. It's unfortunate to see that the US and China are acting provocatively though.
