  5.  @paulharrison5069  I am not/cannot forcing anyone I am just trying to give you information The vaccine is not 100% effective just as it is not 100% safe, no drug or vaccine is. The thing is if we have decent herd immunity we can protect those that CANNOT have the vaccine and those that will die from COVID, some people will die from COVID even though they have been vaccinated. You will statistically 1/Be asymptomatic 2/Very low risk of long term problems BUT if you get it you are giving the virus a chance to mutate as it multiplies in your body and you will be passing this thing on the whole time. The big worry in the scientific community right now is places where they will not have access to the vaccine like India and if a mutation occurs that evades current polyclonal anti bodies, that is naturally acquired from having COVID and recovered or from immunization. One rogue mutation is all it takes, if you are vaccinated and everyone around you we can stop this thing in its tracks.

This is nothing like flu.

  45.  @LuluBowenTarot  Wrong there are peer reviewed studies on masks and PPE for biohazards in general that have been used in bio labs industry for decades. I know, I have worked in them. It's obvious why masks reduce risk, a child can work it out.

  46.  @LuluBowenTarot  Thanks I'll read it. I have been wearing PPE since the 80s with asthma with no Ill effects. All the labs I have worked in required masks at different points and other PPE. Like I said they have been around for decades. Of course Masks don't stop viruses or air, they capture fluids.

Not a Stanford study (or scientist) Medical Hypotheses says its purpose "is to publish interesting theoretical papers. The journal will consider radical, speculative and non-mainstream scientific ideas provided they are coherently expressed." The article about mask wearing was published in November and was authored by Baruch Vainshelboim. The website describes his affiliation this way: "Cardiology Division, Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Health Care System/Stanford University, Palo Alto, CA, United States." The VA facility is affiliated with Stanford, but Vainshelboim hasn’t been affiliated with the VA or Stanford since 2016, when he served for a year as a visiting scholar, the university told us. Stanford also said it had nothing to do with the article and that it has asked the journal for a correction
