  5.  @jwil4286  I don't think it would have been necessary to expel Germans from Königsberg/Kaliningrad after WWII. Stalin just did it because he wanted a strategic port and didn't care about morality. It is just not right to do ethnic cleansing just because you think Russia might be expansionist in the future otherwise.

  7.  @jwil4286  If you invade Russia itself with the aim of ethnically cleansing a portion of it from Russians is aggressive enough that Russia might fear destruction in such a case. (You might not consider Crimea to legitimately be a part of Russia. However, for this particular argument Russia's own perspective on it is what matters.)

  8. Lukashenko is too sly. He doesn't want Belarus to be dominated by someone else than him. He pretends to be friendly with Putin/Russia and makes these plans for union between Belarus and Russia but never gets to advancing those plans in a concrete manner (unless he can somehow make himself the next president of Russia/Belarus).
