  2. Congress- Republicans and Democrats just passed a 832 billion dollar budget for defense of the US. The two greatest adversaries to the US are Russia and China. It makes sense to give Ukraine 60-100 billion to fight Russia which is just a small part of the US defense budget. Ukraine is not only weakening Russia substantially but the US doesn’t need to put US boots on the ground. Giving Ukraine money to put it bluntly is in the best interest of the US.
