  2.  @leihtory7423  no, most of US conventional rail was private and has no mass transport capacity and scales, the chinese freight tons are always world NO1 since 1970s, chinese heavy freigh lines and trains are world NO1 , chinese has longest freight trains , US is not even close

  3.  @thegamerkhan  yes,by number it is more, but ecomoy does has much to do with rails,US rail has very low utility rate means US economy is not very active, US economy is a service driven economy, not industrial, also for rail itself, US rail is mostly single line, while china is double line on two directions or triple lines, so in term of that , china is still highest in length
