  1. The Republican plan for everything: Cut taxes for the rich, claim the tax cuts will pay for themselves and won't add to the debt. (this never works) Use the debt as an excuse to cut Medicare and anything else deemed unnecessary by the one percent. It doesn't matter if the economy is strong, or on the verge of collapse. The Republican approach is always the same.

  2.  @andrewwells6323  It didn't work under Dubya and it didn't work under Trump. They cut corporate taxes and said it would create jobs---and each time it all went into stock buybacks. Tax cuts have NEVER paid for themselves. Any impact on the economy is nominal and short lived.
