Corporate profits are at record highs, along with CEO pay, while the salary of the average worker barely keeps pace with inflation---and yes, this hurts our economy when consumer spending accounts for two-thirds of our GDP. The Republican tax cut for the rich and corporations will just make inequality even worse---and the GOP, the wealthy and corporations have you to thank for being one of their pawns.
