  1. The Dems AGREED TO the Republican's cuts and the Republicans said no, they want Obamacare and a long list of things that have nothing to do with debt. Don't preach fiscal responsibility to me either---for Republican administrations have added far more do the debt than Democratic ones. The GOP put two wars, a medicare prescription drug boondoggle on the credit card and gutted revenues with Bush tax cuts for the rich.

  2. In the GOP dictionary 'compromise" means give us everything we want and the other side gets nothing. The Senate passed a bill with all of GOP budget cuts, but now Republicans want the end of Obamacare, the keystone pipeline and a lot of other things they don't have the votes for. Republicans don't believe in democracy, they want a handful of extremists to function as a dictatorship even after they've lost an election.
