  1. Nope. See, CCP still whines about our divorce 70 years ago. ROC that resided in Taiwan did so too in its early years. But Taiwan has moved on. There is absolutely no plan for Taiwan/ROC to kick CCP off mainland to reclaim mainland as ROC. Keep in mind ROC did once control China for years while PRC never had Taiwan for a day.

  4.  @Kianglekable  There is no reason for PRC collapse. Even if China were liberated, PRC is still PRC, just a liberated PRC instead of CCP-controlled authoritarian PRC. It would have to be China's internal driving force to cause such a big change, and leadership that created it, would be able to attract and gather talents to help with reform. There's no absolutely reason for them to adopt ROC's constitution as theirs, or seek Taiwan's/ROC's assistance. Which means, still no reason for "reunification". But of course, relationship between China and Taiwan would be much, much, much better. By the way, ROC's constitution isn't owned by KMT, just as U.S. constitution isn't owned by any political party. Both are constitutions subject to be changed by the people. DDP, or any governing body of Taiwan, still has to govern in accordance to ROC's constitution.

  6. Leonard Pearlman What has more to do with U.S. interference? I was simply stating KMT 1.0 had ambition to kick CCP out of mainland to reclaim China. KMT 2.0 then focused on liberating Taiwan and banned any and all relationships with CCP. Virtue? KMT 3.0 now is going all in to hand Taiwan over to CCP. By 2020, KMT will be buried for betting wrong.

  8.  @kitb9504  There is no solution for reunification under ROC. It isn't just a PRC or ROC title. Under ROC's constitution, CCP is a fraudulent government run by bandits, and will need to be dissolved under ROC's one China. That's never going to happen. Best solution is for CCP is stop bothering Taiwan.

  19. I'm pro Trump despite he is the least likely to interfere with Taiwan-China relation. U.S. got us out of Taiwan's Straits Crisis 3x, all started by China. China is the one and only country on the planet ready to bomb and invade Taiwan and attempted twice. We know who is our friend. Taiwan made the same mistake as U.S. in taking a leap of faith in partnering with China in economic trade. CCP didn't turn friendly, it turned even more aggressive. PRC's one-China mentality is extremely unfavorable among Taiwanese. Problem is many CCP agents within Taiwan are succeeding in selling themselves as something else they are not, with help from a media mongol subsidized by CCP. We have to drain the swamp here too.
