Reporters being deported had nothing to do with the article which CCP is upset about.

@LolwutLol2000 It won't matter. Chinese are indoctrinated to think any criticism of Chinese government is a humiliation of entire Chinese race.

Chinese government did shut him up and forced him to apologize just as fast. What are you talking about?

CCP doesn't even respect Chinese culture. Heck, CCP tried to erase Chinese cukture. It has jack to do with culture. It's just CCP needs to maintain an image to con the world to keep throwing free money at it.

WSJ never demanded their articles to be published in China. CCP still reserve all its rights to censorship within China. So what's the problem? Should we, people outside the walls of China, also be dictated by CCP what we can write and read too?

@arminius8838 How are Assange and Snowden censored? Their views were published. Those who publish their words don't go to jail. Movies make them out to be heroes against government. But. Stealing data from U.S. military and smuggling them off site, is illegal. It wasn't what they said that make it illegal. What was the very first thing both did upon successfully smuggling data out of U.S. Defense, illegally? They went to the press to have their findings published. Journalists who collaborated with them never had to fear about going to jail. How is that not freedom of speech and freedom of press? There was a dude who publicly criticized U.S. for invading Iraq before invasion begun, and later blamed Obama for creation of ISIS. He never went to jail for those remarks, he now sits in the White House as President of United States.

LOL. "Stick man" was first used to describe Ottoman Empire as "Sick man of Europe". China's insecurity is astounding. Have you guys ever read what left-wing media says of Trump and what the right-wing media says of Clintons and Obama? Writers do these op ed pieces not just on China, you know, it's everyone. It's just Chinese are not used to it.

@vitalis There is absolutely nothing wrong with media being biased as long as its opposing view isn't censored or made a crime. If we're going to invalidate biased views by law, that's trampling on freedom of expression. Biased views can simply be tackled by debating and presenting different perspectives that are more persuasive.

@vitalis Americans fear getting shot and fears night time? Is that why high ranking CCP officials send their kids to U.S.?
1
@vitalis No. I'm simply asking, if U.S. is not safe as you all wumao love to claim, why are Chinese who had acquired wealth and power often send their kids to that "dangerous" place? Do you have an answer?
