This is already down from the 5.5% they had forecast at the start of the year.

@catonpillow Also consider that these forecast of 5% are not only down from estimates earlier in the year but down from government targets. In addition, it's coming with massive government spending so it's not even a true 5% GDP growth.

@murdercom998 you can’t cheer on both China and Taiwan/Japan/India/SKorea/Vietnam/Philippines/Bhutan. Chinas govt is intent on damaging the others. I’m not sure how well informed you are in this matter. China is bullying Bhutan and actually taking land, especially land that overlooks India and thus is meant to intimidate India as well. The same india they have had border clashes with. China is also bullying Philippines and Vietnam in the South China Sea. They are also threatening South Korea and Japan. There’s a a reason China has very low approval ratings in all those countries.
