Presidents in the US are increasingly unpopular due almost entirely to the polarization of US politics. Approval ratings of 60%+ were common before because you could get 90% approval of your party voters and then 30%-40% support of the opposition party voters. They’re days the ceiling of what support you get from the opposition is shrinking and shrinking. Obama saw his support from republicans shrinking over time from about 20% down to 10% at the end. Trump was around 15% support at peak with opposition party voters and went down to 5%.. Biden is now seeing around 10% support. In addition, the Democratic Party has a split left vs moderate which is also causing drop in approval from the same party voters.

The US involvement in the middle-east is almost entirely to offset Iran's influence so Israel teaming up with Saudi Arabia and UAE with support from the US should help tremendously to offset Iran and reduce the US involvement in the region so they can 'pivot' to China and Russia.

While Russia being torn apart and divided is likely very little chance, if it does it will be in part because of jihadism. What wasn’t mentioned (unless I missed it) is that the Muslim minority have been overly represented in the mobilization. All of this could potentially end up causing such a huge a friction that we start seeing that community pull itself apart from Russia. But this is still a small chance.

@zero-dollartrader6440 Rus talking points are always to bring up Syria -- despite Ruzzia being the one most heavily involved there. Such a weird thing I notice people bring up to defend Ruzzia.
53
Yes it can but its highly unlikely. No territory has the ability to fight and win independence. But I do believe there will be major problems in the years to come.
52
@Greg-yu4ij Did you repeat what Putin wanted you to repeat?

Taiwan didn’t need an auto mfg industry but yes, it helps a lot. My understanding is that auto manufacturing requires lots of secondary suppliers and is also generally high labor wages in addition to spurring innovation that can be used for other industries. It’s why China put lot of focus on it last few years …seeing what it did for Japan and South Korea

I found this video weird. They didn't truly show all the important metrics and facts such as how the gas and oil revenues dropped significantly towards the end even before the Dec 2022 price cap. They left out some other metrics and facts that would really show Russia's long term struggles but at the same time, they seem overly optimistic at Russia's eventual economic destruction. Russia will certainly be hurt in the long run but the video at times makes it appear as if Russias economies will eventually collapse or have much bigger damage than what might actually happen. It's really hard to tell what the long term damage will be -- if oil and gas prices hike up again, even with a price cap, Russia will not be hurt as much. But if oil and gas prices do not increase and say a global slowdown occurs bringing demand down for gas and oil, Russia's economy can tank. It's uncertain if many other nations will try to do business as usual with Russia in the long run or not. All I know is that unless it's an economic collapse, I don't see Putin stopping the war due to economic reasons. The sanctions will just make it harder to fund the war and get the materials and weapons they need to keep the war going at full scale.

Even those not formerly colonized by France or even others have had major issues. Millions starved in North Korea. then look at Ethiopia.
22
@eabutler6861 "A country just doesn't fall apart like that on its own" It does when consistently votes in leaders that then try to become dictators.
22
@caspermac funny how most of the world wants to go to US universities and not chinas universities
21
@franwex Biden is under 40% approval, Trump was mostly around 42%, Obama was mostly 45%-47% but go back to Clinton and he was often around 60%. Reagan was often above 60%.
20
@caspermac nothing you say is honest. We can see university rankings and we can see where international students go and want to go. You’re just full of BS
16
@Greg-yu4ij SLAVA UKRAINI!
15
Latin America for sure is the most homogenous large area In the world. Same language, mostly same religion, most cities look similar (due to Spain city planning and architecture), and music and other cultural elements are shared across much of Latin America. Africa is the complete opposite lol. Genetically sub Sahara Africa is similar but that’s about it — so many languages and religions.
15
@Ibrahim Özgür Sucu the problem is Iran is is the Source if much of the conflict the region. But I guess you are okay with them being behind the groups trying to destroy Israel, supporting Assad, and supporting Houthis. Oh, trying to build nukes as well. The list goes on
14
@DimitarBerberu I love that sarcasm. Nothing says 'high moral standards' like conc camps, no free speech, controlling all information, etc.
14
@caspermac I’ve never seen a more uneducated and anti science person than you. “I don’t care what the rankings and the stats show…”
13
@deezeed2817 you described a socialist scam not a capitalist scam - a government paying for more and more elderly retired people until the system crumbles. A capitalist model would be like Australia where it’s not on the government but employers and employees to pay for the retirement. The government requires employers pay X% of someone’s wages into a private retirement fund for the employee, like a 401k in the US.

Western companies won’t put all their eggs in one basket but I will say “factory” doesn’t fit India aa well. They may eventually have half the factories as say China does now but India will also have lots of international service jobs that China doesn’t have in large part because Indians speak English. Call centers, IT, customer service for international companies, purchasing, etc. I have a manufacturing client in the US that has most of their accounting and Purchsing teams in India. That’s where much of Indias future is at.

You are right that western companies won’t put all their eggs in one basket but I will say “factory” doesn’t fit India aa well. They may eventually have half the factories as say China does now but India will also have lots of international service jobs that China doesn’t have in large part because *many Indians speak English. Call centers, IT, customer service for international companies, purchasing, etc. I have a manufacturing client in the US that has most of their accounting and Purchsing teams in India. That’s where much of Indias future is at. Edit: added “many” to the “many Indians speak English to clarify not all Indians but about 150 million Indians speak English

I'm glad you guys brought up the nuances, ESPECIALLY the War impact on GDP. Fighting a war requires a lot of government spending and government spending is literally one of the measures used in GDP. The best thing to do is look at GDP without war spending since war spending is mostly to build things that will just be destroyed and don't improve the citizens life. The charts showing certain industries plummeting at 8:22 was a perfect example of the information needed to really tell the story. However, that chart was only trade with EU so we would need to understand Russia's total trade -- where they able to make up for that EU trade loss or was there still some net loss? What everything seems to suggest is Russia is slowly in decline and will have major financial issues the longer the war goes but Russia will not economically collapse and will continue to have modest GDP losses or zero gain though it can be argued that GDP losses after war spending is removed might be considerable but not collapsing considerable.

@汝爱花否 prison rate in China is lower than US because they capital punishment 500x more people and China also doesn’t count the millions in camps as part of prison population.
12
This is much worse than trump. Trump just tried to suggest to his supporters to do a coup — Castillo actually tried It himself.
11
@srcolesl do you think Serbia committed horrible war crimes and a ge-noc-îde 20-25 years ago un Kosovo?
11
@汝爱花否 plündérïng p00r countries? PRC attempt to stéäl the Sea and it’s resources and shipping lanes from p00r countries Vietnam, Indonesia and Philippines is exactly that .
11
Sounds a lot like Russia where Putin’s main support is rural and smaller cities along with people over 50 everywhere but in the big cities, those under 50 seem to anti Putin
10
@davidford3115 Sure, but his wrinkles have grown in just one year. You can see the same with US presidents but Zelensky is aging at a much faster rate than US presidents who already age faster than the average person.

polymechanos bro, not sure if you’re stupid or was just joking. Nazis weren’t socialist....anymore than Democratic Republic of North Korea isn’t a democratic republic

I don’t know how this video got it wrong. I’m no expert on Pakistan but I know Punjabi’s speaks Punjabi and that Urdu was Chosen as the national language so it doesn’t look to favor the biggest ethnic group, Punjabis. Also, not sure what you meant by undivided India. I’m assuming you mean the India in 1947? Because historically, greater India was not undivided but many different nations or states.
10
@roderickwhitehead yes, it’s the leftist that don’t like open honest discussions — not the right wing who openly support the biggest liar ever to be president
10
I am hoping that this massive money aid comes with major corruption reform because Ukraine has some well educated people and can becomes the next Estonia if they rid their corruption.
10
@Kevin-mk6jo wow, talk about anti-Semitic. If you actually think the Iranian regime is more trustworthy than the the Israeli regime with nukes, then maybe you’re the type that still wishes the man with the little mustache had won ww2. And you’re not behind honest saying Jews have never lived on that land before nor are you honest about how and why Jews in large numbers ended up there between 1900-1950.
10
@roderickwhitehead so you might vote for the biggest liar there is...and you complain about people not wanting to have honest discussions? WTF?!?!
9
@HimanshuSharma-oe4mk great point. India doesn’t need all 1.4b to speak English to have major impact. If 150 million speak English and most young educated people are growing up speaking English, that will mean the number of educated Indians able to speak English will continue to grow and could surpass the US with most English speakers. In comparison, young people in China do learn some English but most of them speak it very terribly unless they are from a rich family. I’m not sure how accurate Indian movies are but I watch many of them and what I noticed is how often people switch to English y on occasion. It’s far more prevalent in Indian movies than movies from any other countries. Even if it’s not accurate (that many Indians switch to English on occasion) it demonstrates the importance of English none the less. Watch a movie from Latin America and they will almost never switch to English even for a moment unless they are dealing with a character that only speaks English. It might have a lot to do with india having a diverse group of people speaking so many languages that English is often used as a commons language. In Latin America or east Asia or most countries there is just one main language that almost all the people speak so learning the international language of English isn’t that important.

But Chinas aggression is exactly why Japan is building up their navy. So China should expect a resurgence in Japanese military.
9
You are back!!! We have been worried but considering your other language videos still stayed up I knew you guys didn’t do anything bad and just had Techinical issues
8
Benson Chan you mean pushing smart economic and political agendas? Surely you can actually explain what they got wrong in the video rather than just saying it’s pushing a neoliberal agenda
8
@Ibrahim Özgür Sucu in addition , Saudi Arabia is quickly moderating. It’s progressing.
8
I am hoping that this massive money aid comes with major corruption reform because Ukraine has some well educated people and can becomes the next Estonia if they rid their corruption.
8
@Chou-seh-fu he is paid to defend china. Well, V acts like it. He subscribed to a few YouTubers who are working for the Chinese government to defend China
8
@Superpooper-2020 the fake Indian account that is actually Chinese. Game is obvious
8
@jeffs4483 the constitution doesn’t allow it which will why the congress was able to arrest Castillo. And that includes majorly of his own party or allied parties.
7
@Sami1973 Who, you?
7
Japan, an enemy that actually attacked us first quickly became our major ally in Asia. Germany, who started world war 2 European theater was also a major ally shortly after. It happens
7
@Davyjones5454 technically there are numerous parties but the system is designed so that major parties have too much control so you end up with two parties representing 98% of politics. One mor major party would make a world of difference so thus 2 of the 3 can work together on a specific legislation and get it done. As if is, one party can often block the other party from passing a piece of legislation Still 100x times better than China where there is only one true party and only the elites of that party do the real voting.
7
@caspermac oh, so to you it doesn’t matter that all the International rankings have US far more ahead and the fact that US has almost 4x more foreign students and the fact that 1/3 of the foreign students in the US are from China. Somehow chinas universities are about equal or better because you feel so. Got it.
