This is not at all serving Saudi Arabia’s long term interests. This is bad for KSA. Dictators seem to be increasingly making bad decisions.

Socialist, keep in mind cuba doesn’t produce oil and Venezuela even at its peak was producing far less than Saudi Arabia. I’m not sure the relevance of either to the topic especially Cuba.

@sjv9147s there are many ways the US can punish Saudi Arabia. They can buy Chinese weapons but those are inferior. Money isn’t an issue for Saudi Arabia so this will hurt Saudi Arabia. The US can also politically isolate KSA. The security Saudi Arabia receives from the US can also be withheld. the KSA will take time to find new weapons and someone new to protect them. The only large concerns IMO is that Saudi Arabia helps offset irans influence in the region. That’s why US wouldn’t want to destroy the relationship. But hey, if Iran has a revolution and throws out the ayatollah, Saudi Arabia becomes even less useful for the US

@jimgriffiths9071 The US has plenty of Unskilled labor but I'm not sure what that has to do with Venezuela. Now you're talking about refugees and not the govt of Venezuela? Caribbean has enough oil to see us thrus till fusion -- but this is about Cuba specifically not the whole Caribbean.

@Evan-iq8hd US would be insane to trust cuba or Venezuela. Both are dictatorships that oppress (violently) any opposition. Putin and China have shown oppressive autocracies can’t be trusted

@Evan-iq8hd US does it (in recent years) when it’s entirely necessary. Literally the point of the video. Did you not watch it? When 2/3 of the world are oppressive regimes, you can’t alienate all the oppressive regimes. Tr0/| harder

@Evan-iq8hd it happens 73% of the time? The biggest enemies of the US are dictatorships or similar governments so why make it up? The closest friends of the US are almost all democracies with good human rights from Europe to Canada Japan South Korea Australia New Zealand etc. if you’re lame argument made sense, then the close allies of the US would be mostly dictatorships or other non democratic countries. Just like how Chinas closest friends are almost all non democratic countries.

@sjv9147s the small Ukraine that didn’t have an army 9 years ago with limited 2nd tier US weapons has been defeating Russia over the past 2 months and slowly pushing out Russia and you’re saying that US weapons aren’t superior? Lol! Ukraine wasn’t given any serious airplanes, the Himars missiles they have are limited to 50 miles (300 miles is capable with other missiles), and Ukraine hasn’t received any advance drones or tanks from the US.

Mohamed Nazer source US is buying South Korean weapons? South Korea gets much of its weapons from the US. And US pushing for peace talks not because it’s getting costly for the US. The US has spent $20 billion on Ukraine which like 3% of the IS total military budget.
