Comments by "HomerOJSimpson" (@Homer-OJ-Simpson) on "Why is BIDEN the most UNPOPULAR president in HISTORY? - VisualPolitik EN" video.
Presidents in the US are increasingly unpopular due almost entirely to the polarization of US politics. Approval ratings of 60%+ were common before because you could get 90% approval of your party voters and then 30%-40% support of the opposition party voters. They’re days the ceiling of what support you get from the opposition is shrinking and shrinking. Obama saw his support from republicans shrinking over time from about 20% down to 10% at the end. Trump was around 15% support at peak with opposition party voters and went down to 5%.. Biden is now seeing around 10% support. In addition, the Democratic Party has a split left vs moderate which is also causing drop in approval from the same party voters.

@franwex Biden is under 40% approval, Trump was mostly around 42%, Obama was mostly 45%-47% but go back to Clinton and he was often around 60%. Reagan was often above 60%.

@Davyjones5454 technically there are numerous parties but the system is designed so that major parties have too much control so you end up with two parties representing 98% of politics. One mor major party would make a world of difference so thus 2 of the 3 can work together on a specific legislation and get it done. As if is, one party can often block the other party from passing a piece of legislation Still 100x times better than China where there is only one true party and only the elites of that party do the real voting.

@MilanTheMan69 "Do you as Americans prefer warmonger preside" Are you saying China isn't the warmonger with surrounding Taiwain with military ships and shooting missiles? Sounds a lot like a w8ma0

@hkchan1339 the decline in the ceiling was happening before social media but it seem to accelerate with social media / internet. In the 90’s New Gingrich began the culture wars and began the divisive politics that would morph into the tea party in 2009/10 and then the trump party of today. But around 2009 and after starting with the tea party it’s when everything just crumbled. Each side became more entrenched in their side.

@mclilzenthepoet2331 the economic policies are also very different among the two though but the social issues are the much bigger divide now. Economically the Democrats support higher taxes and bigger government spending than Republicans

@christianv7997 538 has aggregate polling average of 39.6% approval for Biden

@MilanTheMan69 the CCP w8ma0.

Economy is mixed but inflation is indeed an issue. That is a big driver of the unpopularity but also the major factor is the polarization of politics. Biden is one of the lowest approval but trump was one as well and Obama was below average approval. The approval from opposition party voters is shrinking and shrinking meaning almost all the approval is coming from your own party. Biden is under 40%, Trump was mostly around 42%, Obama was mostly 45% but go back to Clinton and he was often around 60%. Reagan was often above 60%.

@BigHardExcellentFish Biden finish the border wall? How does that help you individually 8’ 2022 and why didn’t trump get it done? Deficit has increased and it increased tremendously under Trump. Trump was handed a hot economy in 2016 and why did he increase the deficit? Hot economy is when you are supposed to reduce deficits so you are prepared for an emergency like the pandemics

@fra604 the guy is defending China in other comments — it’s a w8má0, hope you know that

Yeah, History if women and minorities being ignored for Supreme Court so him picking a black woman is of course even worse. And no way are judges personal background an effect on their job. That’s why white people have been the best at being voices for black community and men are the best at being voices for women.

@tsubadaikhan6332 I mostly agree with that statement . The Republican Party was more libertarian in some aspect but now their main focus more nationalism, more cultural war, more federal government telling states what they can or cannot do.

@dthrust9037 we surpassed number of employed in Feb 2020 just last month

@BigHardExcellentFish individual polls don’t matter, aggregate polling is most important. He’s at 41% in latest aggregate polling from 538

@BigHardExcellentFish what pain and suffering is attributed to Biden? Did he ban abortion? Did he lead Jan 6 insurrection?
1
@BigHardExcellentFish attempting at destroying democracy isn’t a big deal for you???
1
@maddog5284 On point of collapsing? US just added over 500,000 jobs and oil prices are shrinking. That's why I said the economy is mixed -- inflation is very high but jobs keep getting added and one of the major drivers of inflation (oil) is dropping. Oil was over $120/barrel and now under $90.
1
@BigHardExcellentFish most of what you say has little impact on life in 2022. Other parts are typical right wing support of Russia by saying the US should stay out of it. Here is some news for you, Putin is Lucifer. You’re boy Donald loves him but Putin is Lucifer
1
@dthrust9037 border crossers usually have black people and that’s a big reason why it’s a big deal for you?
1
@maddog5284 the ceiling now is much lower than ever. Besides first few months in office or if US is involved in war, the top you will see is probably 47% approval or so. So realistically if the economy was okay (not great but also not this high inflation), the base approval is around 42%. Anything below that is likely from economic worries.

@francisstephenperalta2823 how were lives a lot better under Trump? Murder rates rose. COVID went out of control and a million dead because trump didn’t Believe in it.
1
@francisstephenperalta2823 Bring back trump? He was the reason republicans did terrible in mid term! But then again, you are defending the t-rr0st who raided the capitol

Interesting video but it’s basically suggesting Biden ditch all democrat values as if that will gain support of his party or Biden to make himself a dictator and somehow force through legislation that doesn’t have majority support. The video mentions it’s bad to raise taxes on corporations, bad for try to move away from fossil fuel, bad provide more services, etc.
