Petition to have one of the future channels be a weekly news channel that isn’t focused on one topic but important news from around the world in that week? And maybe an occasional video on the channel doing a deep dive on a global news topic. This kind of journalism but on weekly news format is much needed!

Johnny snatching up half of the great Vox journalists! Search Party and now this new channel. The other half are Howtown’s Joss Fong team and Cleo Abram.

@chipichipichapachapacala I agree. TLDR mostly does pure short news though the occasional topic does get a longer treatment. I’m looking for a channel that in between…more in depth than TLDR but isn’t the typical Johnny Harris 15-25min deep dive into some issue. Maybe if it was a weekly show, cover 1-3 stories of the week with each story 5-8 min coverage.

@Official_Alphabet_Inc the weekly news I see i see is just brief coverage of many stories. I’m hoping to have a weekly show with 1-3 stories covered and each story has 5-8min in depth look. So it’s in between the long in depth Johnny Harris dive and the short coverage that TLDR does. If you know of any such channels, let me know.
