  1. Don’t judge too harshly. She may not have harmed the child but didn’t know what to do. She may be an illegal and afraid to call the police or 911 to get him help. Fear is a powerful motivator to not do the right thing. Then again she may not have done anything to the child but was running from the one who did do this. Again fear of calling 911 for help, leaving the child where he could have been found all while hiding from her boyfriend, husband, child’s father. Couldn’t stop or he would find them, now her.
