  3. It does not meet the criteria for vandalism. The property was not damaged or damaged or purpose. The erasers on the other hand if taken off school property could be theft but if just hidden in the classrooms not theft or vandalism. The only thing that the kids could be charged with is trespassing but even that depends on if the school is normally open at the time they arrived. Did they break a lock to get in? That could be vandalism. The story does not say. I bet the Janitors where happy.
