  1. Owned a couple of 1980 and 1990 vintage turbocharged Volvos (740T and 940T). Fortunate to have a Swedish mechanic give me this same advice at the time. Saved me a ton of money and got me over 200,000 on the 740T before an accident totalled it.

  4.  @vwaudiporsche11  Depends on which car. I have a Range Rover Velar turbo that requires a minimum of 91 octane (RON 95). My other non-turbo cars run fine on 87 (RON 91).
