It can still be argued it does b/c animal ag still requires more resources and more land use as you grow the plants to feed the animals then have to house and process the animals. You can eat vegan and try to grow your own food and buy from local farmer's markets. That's the best solution.

Not true dude. Some people do actually give a fuck about the earth, other sentient beings and their own fucking health. Veganism is the most selfless thing one can do on this earth. Can't stand so many haters who just judge instead of doing the damn research themselves.
5
Yes humans do need certain fats and protein, and ALL of the ones we need can be found in plants plus fiber and many other micronutrients not found in animal products. So please tell me why logically meat is superior? b/c it's not and you're continuing the big lie w/o doing any real research yourself. Stop talking out of your ass. This is the one issue so many people who claim to be about logic just completely drop and fall back on their indoctrination on instead of looking at all of the many scientific studies that disprove your assertions.

Sad to hear, b/c there are many super nice and compassionate vegans out there, even to stubborn meat eaters. Being vegan takes compassion for all living things and it's hard for many to keep it for other humans who don't see things as they do now, but you can kinda understand their side too. We're humans w/a consciousness and ability to research, we should know better by now and it's sad we're still in this infantile state as far as our understanding goes of us and our relationship w/all else in the universe and how much better things could be.

@jennibaxter9588 False. Just look up the https://www.greatveganathletes.com/category/vegan-bodybuilders/ website or Vegan Gains etc on Youtube. I love Vegan Gains b/c he speaks aggressively and w/humor and tells it like it is and backs his shit up w/scientific research and is also more like Styx politically, not a damn stupid liberal like most vegans are. He even has a couple of good political videos too.

eating less meat and other animal products and processed foods is still what needs to be focused on. They contain too much fat, no fiber and no nutritional benefits that veggies and fruits and nuts can't provide. A whole foods vegan diet will naturally have you eating less as people don't want to sit and eat a whole watermelon for an hour or a big salad for 1-2 hours.
3
Quite the contrary.
2
Many meat eaters are also low in b12 b/c guess what it's not found in meat either. It's bacteria that modern farming usually washes off. Go get your blood lvls checked. Many vegans become much more aware of proper nutrition and are way better off than a traditional indoctrinated meat eater.

@Noodlepunk Who the hell calls for the rape of people? I know many vegans and vegan activists and no one has said that! Yes, some of the more extreme ones will disrupt restaurants and shopping centers, but I think it takes a variety of actions to wake people up from their indoctrinated slumber. Yes, it's annoying and inconvenient for some, but it gets a fraction of people to actually think about why it's so important for another human being to do this, so there must be a good reason behind it. At least do the research yourselves instead of letting big industry and your parent's traditions keep you where you are in a country who's top 15 killers are all related to diet and lifestyle choices, not our genes. Go to Nutritionfacts.org and watch some of Dr. Micheal McGregor's speeches on it.
2
I would agree w/that, even though I wish more people would go vegan for their own sake. Can't force it though.
2
@chronos401 Yes generally vegans are thin, but you can have fat vegans who live off of lots of processed vegan foods like the mock meats, fries, oreos, and soda. And alcohol will still keep you fat too.
2
Not true. There are all kinds of people out there showing a good example of what a vegan diet can do for you. All kinds of vegan body builders and even some vegan Olympic athletes who won in the last Olympics. Please, check your facts before you spread more stupid lies that only hurt people by keeping them from the truth.
2
Yeah, let's hate people who want to live their lives to the fullest and healthiest that they can and may just want other humans to feel better and have more energy in their lives rather than be good little consumers of big animal ag products and die early of heart disease, cancer or diabetes, only our top killers in America.
2
No it's not. It's a plentiful diet and when i started going vegan, a whole new world of different foods opened up to me that i never thought about eating before b/c I was so used to, like most people, the same SAD foods like pizza, burgers, tacos, etc. People don't realize how much they limit themselves w/many of our common dishes today instead of branching out and trying other things (w/more variety of needed nutrients in them).
2
@WRATHofDESTRUCTION I've found that many people have cured their acne and other ailments by going whole foods vegan. Get your facts right.
1
@WRATHofDESTRUCTION that guy sv3rige is an idiot. Just watch Vegan Gains' refute his craziness easily. That guy is really crazy eating raw rotten veal etc and admits to being put in a mental hospital a few times... Yeah who's the crazy one, the one who looks thick and healthy or the scrawny white dude eating rotten meat...
1
@YeeLeeHaw i'm w/you brother. :)
1
We eat way more animal products now than before, making the problem more visible and also the processed foods are horrible for us too. Going to whole foods vegan w/a focus on making sure we eat a variety of different plants all of the time will do wonders. No bugs needed.
1
They're driven by the deep desire to end all animal suffering as quickly as possible.
1
Just look up Vegan Gains. He's not a dumb leftist like many vegans sadly are.

Why is it a slow painful death? There are many older vegans who are thriving b/c of their better diet choices while other meat eaters are dying at much younger ages of chronic diseases like heart disease and diabetes that is strictly caused by their meat eating, high fat diets. If people knew proper nutrition, you wouldn't see all of these people dying earlier than they could be. Veggies, fruits and starches need to be our staples. Look at Dr. McDougall and Dr. Neal Beranard's work and all of the thousands of people they helped on this kind of diet, including reversing diseases in people who already had things like diabetes. It's proven and documented that whole foods vegan is the way to go. Now we just have to fight big Animal Ag to get the truth out there. Small local gardening and farming is what we need to be doing now. Micro farms and such. Stop relying on globalist industrialized farming shipping food thousands of miles one way or another. We need to be close to where our food is picked so it's picked at maximum ripeness and we get maximum nutrients from it. Fact: plants have all of the nutrients you can find in any animal products (yes including all proteins) plus more and minus the bad stuff like cholesterol and lots of saturated fat.
1
The problem is at the rate that Americans eat meat, there's NO WAY to have "humane meat". Its a myth. All of these millions of animals are shoved into small confined areas, many living out their much shorter-than-natural lives w/o ever seeing the sky or feeling grass, and are subjected to cruel procedures w/o anesthetics like beak trimming, balls being ripped out, tails being cut off, etc all so they don't hurt each other as they go crazy being shoved together in such a small confined space where they can't act out any of their natural social functions. We create hell on earth for animals and then expect not to be judged by other people who wake up to this cruel fact and want to save them from us?? Especially when it's completely unnecessary to eat animals for our health and often detrimental to us?? We live in an insane world when we allow this to continue once the truth is put out there. It just takes people questioning enough to do their own research and then make the commitment to change their ways from what they've' been indoctrinated to believe is "normal".
1
wow horrible advice! No we as Americans consume waaaay too much protein and even then if you want more, you can still find it in plant foods like rice and beans. They provide a complete protein for you when put together. Meat is just saturated fat, cholesterol and no fiber. no good for you.
1
Cheese is very bad for you and also very unnatural for humans to be consuming when no animals consume dairy of even their own species after they ween off of their mother's milk and for us to eat an entirely different species's milk meant for nutrition of their young makes no fucking sense. And cheese is highly addictive as well, so once we eat it it's hard to get off of it w/o some strong will power. Whole foods vegan makes sense when you research it.
1
Dr. McDougall's research would contradict your statements. It's possible some people do better on slightly different diets, but I still think all can be whole foods vegan w/a different focus on what works better for them, mostly fruits or starch based veggies or something else. I don't see how meat can be beneficial. The gut bacteria thing is very important and something I think we American's are lacking which is also causing us chronic illness though. How can you not eat fiber though?? You need it to push out everything regularly. I think your knowledge is not well researched... Processed carbs yes are bad, whole foods ones are not. All proteins found in meat are also in plants too, so you should know that coming from a veg upbringing.. Plenty of vegan body builders out there to prove that.
1
I believe everyone should move towards veganism, and at least lower their meat and dairy and egg consumption over time b/c it's disgusting the levels that we eat animal products at, including them in usually every single meal. It's not healthy and it's not good for the environment or the millions or billions of animals who suffer every year b/c of our tastes when we don't need to eat them to survive. I liked that Cory Booker was vegan back before I knew how stupid he was on politics in general though and what a fake he was w/his fake outrage etc.
1
You only have a lack of nutrients if you don't know what the fuck you're doing and just eating the same few foods everyday. It's about a VARIETY of plant foods that you need including nuts and seeds too for good healthy fats. Just b/c some suck at doing the research and applying proper nutrition in their daily life, doesn't mean veganism itself leads to poor health at all. Quite the contrary. I have a vegan bf who once ate lots of meat and cheese, and now he's the healthiest and thinnest he's ever been w/lots of energy. I myself am on the path to more health and I can tell you when I did a raw vegan diet I had the most energy I've ever experienced in my life! I felt so naturally happy like I'd never felt before in my life growing up on heavily processed meat and diary meals everyday. If you just eat enough veggies I don't think people will have teeth issues.
1
hmm i don't see that as the case for most. Just look at this lady who was on the news years ago: https://www.nbcmiami.com/news/local/75-Year-Old-Woman-Defies-Aging-Process-With-Raw-Vegan-Diet-441035953.html If you see unhealthy vegans it's b/c they focus on eating mostly processed foods which are still not great for your health. Whole foods vegan is the way to go.
1
AMEN! Wish more people realized and had to pay the true price for their precious meat. We've have instant vegans overnight just out of fiscal necessity. We should always see the real cost of our food.
1
Animal products are what largely cause inflammation in the body, especially all dairy. This is known. You don't get leaky bowel from being vegan either, and if you eat a balanced whole foods vegan diet you will have the most excellent hair and skin you could ever have. Ever see this lady before? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4gZ4U3V5LEc

Most meat eaters are also low on certain nutrients like b12 as well, but never bother to get their blood checked to notice. Don't act like only one diet can cause that, b12 is not even found in meat. Educate yourself. Best way to lose weight is to go raw vegan, but at least do whole foods vegan w/a variety of different plants to eat and you'll be fine.
1
It's important to show people there's a healthier and more compassionate way to live. No shame in that, even though meat eaters want to make us feel shame any time we speak up, all b/c they don't want to face their own part in the continued suffering of billions of animals every year and of people dying from chronic illness due to big animal ag and processed foods.
1
@ジョジョさま yep and the soy and corn grown in recently deforested lands is usually for that livestock as well when we could use far less land just eating plants directly.
1
@ebolachanislove6072 i find that EXTREMELY hard to believe and feel ur going to develop something serious soon if u dont get ur health including blood and vitamin lvls checked thoroughly. U dont seem to understand how fiber works. It goes thru ur system scraping all the other stuff up and pushing it thru basically making sure it all exits ur colon. Ur supposed to poop at least 3 times a day if ur system is running smoothly. Most people dont cuz they just eat crap animal products and hardly any fiber. Corn and beans are things we dont really digest but it helps us push the fat out that we do.
1
@smitetheunholy6179 ill look into that more. At least ur comment sounds like its well researched and im always open to new info.

Long term indoctrination by the big animal ag and other food industries is a dangerous cult that has been killing people.... Wonder why you don't see that being said as much... big money perhaps?
