They are all good at fiddling the books.

So good to know someone still remembers. 👏

@thomasholland5487 Spot on. Actually over half , he ignored BoE. Old lags keep coming back to preach. They seem to think all the public are struck by memory loss.
4
@Land-of-reason The scary thing is, will everyone remember the mess from Sunak. Or not until it’s too late.
3
Actually think 2.1 is an underestimation. Which ever Sunak won’t put his hands up to the shambles he has caused. IF he gets in, can’t see him allowing anyone to take the reigns as Chancellor.
3
Ha ha ha !! 👏.
2
Certainly remember that between Blair and Brown the true roots of the Labour Party were shredded.
2
@heliotropezzz333 That was down to Sunak. He did admit in interviews that he and Boris clashed over finances. One of the last things Boris said in the Commons was “8billion given to airlines and look at the state of them now’
2
@heliotropezzz333 He’s up with the Fairy’s where Starmer is concerned. Brown reckon’s he’ll make fantastic PM. Well Starmer will need to rename the party to ‘No Mans Land’

Why’s! Why did Sunak out of the blue move his family out of No11. Why did he shortly after run out of No10. After all in his book, he’s a financial Wizard. Surprised he didn’t have an open umbrella with him, cause surely he saw what was going to rain down.
2
The only thing that does hold from him, PM and the now Chancellor have got to get a decent package together for our most vulnerable. They need Positive not all this If, But, and Maybe crap.

Easy to be that way when your out.

Surely 3yrs takes it back to Theresa May. The only time she showed a back bone was when she Decimated the morale of the Police Force.
1
@mikeenwright333 All due respect, Is hindsight, which they say only fools look in , going to help our most needy now. Sunak’s living wage rise, which he announced as huge gift , was an insult. Breaking triple lock was an insult, patting himself on the back for what he has done for our vulnerable working class and others, an insult. He camouflage’s it all, with language only the wealthy can translate.
1
@heliotropezzz333 He sold the gold before the collapse. To soon , to cheap.
1
@janicebirch7522 Frankly, have grave misgivings of Sunak ever entering the arena.
1
@janicebirch7522 Actually it seems very interesting that Sunak claims he has excellent front and back benchers backing him. The majority of front benchers are behind Truss. Would he take advice from the likes of Theresa May, or would he look for it from another country. Maybe one he has a vested interest in.

@heliotropezzz333 Get what your saying. Do think Boris has flaws. His judgment of characters being one. There was a tribal atmosphere towards him long before he made his PM bid. Over the period of time he appeared to gain confidence and strength. It may have been that as the country’s financial position started to become unarguably clear, he may have had a clear out of minister’s far more rigorous than he had attempted before. But on mass he would have probably struggled. Public have been fed the scenario that Sunak walked. But hardly likely to take on board that he ran. Let alone why.
1
@heliotropezzz333 Well there is great emphasis on Sunak being our PM. They seem to choose to ignore the fact, that it will be the voice of the public whom ultimately will bring a full term PM . In the same vein the number of MP’s incapable / unwilling of acknowledging that Millions voted for Boris, not the party. It may be to their detriment come the general election. At the moment the toss up is country or people first. If they put the country first they may feel the wrath of the people and the Unions.
1
@heliotropezzz333 Certainly agree . Between us, we should come up with something to bail them out. At a price of course.
1
@heliotropezzz333 One admission to another. Personally voted for Boris. Watched him occasionally as Mayor. Listened occasionally when he spoke, at times cringe worthy, but on the whole found him amusing, in someways fascinating. So the vote held no personal interest in the Tory party. Not at all disappointed in him, as no expectations were broken. Through all the debates with other contenders, he was abused but never reacted. To my mind it was a vote for the devil we knew. As for the Tory’s on a whole it’s the same stagnant Party it has always been. To Boris, would say , Thanks for the memories.

Would sooner give Truss a go. Than watch Sunak keep giving paper money to the part of the population that is only business oriented, with the loose change going to the majority of the public.
