  1. Limey Limowits because we are the top one percent when it comes to world economics. I don't think drug companies are at fault. They only make 15% of the total cost of Healthcare. There are other areas where we need to cut cost. Mostly in people. Specifically doctors. We need less regulation where it makes sense. We also need policies that force companies to advertise the price of the drugs and surgeries. So consumers can compare and purchase the ones they want.

Most doctors don't are about patients. Also the medical professionals lobbies the crap out of our government to force regulations on things as it jacks up prices on drugs.

Most of that profit is then turned into either purchasing other randd companies or doing their own research. Pharmaceutical companies make up less t 15% of the entire cost of the Healthcare industry. The real money is elsewhere.
