  3. I disagree. People who still refuse to get vaccinated will not be convinced by any numbers. They will simply choose to not believe them if those numbers disagree with their own ideas. Just like they have been doing for the last two years.

  8. Is your family fully vaccinated? If so, I see no problem. Just avoid any crowds, wear a mask in public and you should be fine. If they are not, stay home.

  16. We are wearing masks indoors. It might be a good idea to require them outdoors too. But I'm not sure it would help, since the people who don't want to get vaccinated often don't wear masks either, even if they are required.

  18. That's the second G in 2G. Geimpft (vaccinated) or Genesen (recovered). Those recovered are treated the same as the vaccinated. But I think only for six month. Not quite sure about the time period.

  23.  @Robin.Burke-Optical_Collusion  The required immunization rate for herd immunity depends on the infectiousness of the disease vector. Pre-Delta 70% would have been enough. With Delta being about twice as infectious, the required rate is now above 85%.

  39. Because a) they "don't believe in masks" or b) they are vaccinated and feel like they don't need it in that circumstance. Masks are required indoors while shopping or in other public venues.
