The video already explained that for the majority of people the tuition fee for these super schools are very steep and parents often take many financial risks just to send their kids to prep schools,extra academic trainings,etc Its really the same with US,the difference is that since US are far more urban people can simply not have a college diploma and still earn a living China cannot afford such luxuriesin China not having a college degree means living in absolute poverty as a farmer or factory workers
