From all of these comments, one thing is clear: Everyone, Republican and Democrat, agrees 100% that Trump lied about not knowing Lev Parnas. Finally, we are all on the same page!

POTUS can hire/fire any ambassador he wants, without explanation. Doesn't explain why Trump gave this order to Lev Parnas, someone Trump and everyone within his administration repeatedly insisted they didn't know, or in what official capacity Lev Parnas had the authority to even carry out Trump's mission. Aren't you just a little curious?

I'll vote for Trump if just one of you could rationally explain your thinking. Trump said Lev Parnas was a lying snake. So why would he or any of you now believe anything Lev Parnas said? Was Lev Parnas lying when he said he knew Trump, even though there's all this proof that he DID know Trump and everyone in his administration, but now he's not lying about the ambassador because you need to have an excuse for Trump firing her?

And so what if Trump lied, right? So what if Trump claimed he didn't know Lev Parnas, and that Lev Parnas was a lying snake. So what if Trump actually did know Lev Parnas and was plotting a hit on the ambassador. The POTUS can do whatever he wants! And as long as Trump is in the White House, we can do whatever we want too!

I could see Trump and everyone in his administration and family insisting they don't know Lev Parnas, even though there are all of those photos (not to mention a video of Pence's wife rubbing the guy's back...creepy), but it sure doesn't look good that Lev Parnas was with Giuliani during the whole Ukraine shakedown.

@brandonhill2183 It might, as it build against Trump's character as being honest and truthful. This tape proved that Trump lied when he said he didn't know Lev Parnas. This tape proved Trump not only knows Lev Parnas, but took his word on whatever he was saying about the ambassador. Trump knows Lev Parnas and was clearly working with him. It also shows us that Trump recognized how desperate Ukraine was for assistance and he sought to take advantage of that vulnerability. He's a sick animal.

Then are you also saying Trump lied about not knowing who Lev Parnas is? And are you also suggesting Lev Parnas worked for this administration? What official office did Lev Parnas hold?

Trump can't make orders to someone who he claimed he didn't know, and has zero authority to fire someone he doesn't like. Trump would, however, order the assassination of a threat to a mob guy.
